RESEARCH AND ACADEMIC WORK
Research Direction: Primarily engaged in the study of pyrolysis/gasification reaction mechanisms, kinetics, and catalyst development for carbonaceous fuels such as heavy oil and biomass. Supporting the scaling-up application of industrial technologies including heavy oil cracking-gasification integration processing, biomass gasification poly-generation, and flue gas treatment. Successfully led projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China's Youth Fund, Joint Fund, General Fund, National Key Research and Development Program/Projects (2), and horizontal projects from enterprises such as PetroChina. Published over 60 papers, granted over 20 domestic invention patents, 5 US invention patents, presented over 20 times at domestic and international conferences, received 2 first prizes for scientific and technological progress at the provincial and ministerial level, 1 second prize for higher education teaching achievements in Beijing, and co-authored 1 monograph. Selected as a top young scholar, an excellent young scholar, and a young talent support project by the Beijing Association for Science and Technology; guided multiple undergraduates to obtain excellent undergraduate thesis awards in Beijing, first prize in university student science and technology innovation competitions. Mentored 1 doctoral graduate and 16 master's degree candidates. Over half of the graduates received national scholarships, school-level excellent master's theses, and awards for excellent master's graduates. Worked in excellent enterprises and institutions in higher education, petroleum and petrochemical, aerospace, and other fields.
